I have to disagree... the #1 most annoying Christmas song is Feliz Navidad followed up by Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime (did I just hear that it is by Paul McCartney? He should be ashamed of himself), then anything by the chipmunks or sung by a children's choir (recorded and played on the radio), and I will agree with 12 days of Christmas sung by anyone and if there is a song about a hippo that is christmas related, then it automatically goes on the list. Hippos were not visiting the manger - I'm quite certain of that.
TOTALLY forgot Feliz Navidad. I'll give you that one. The Paul McCartney one is one I remember from when I was a kid so I like it.
It was Gayla Peevey singing I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas. Have you forgotten Little Jimmy Boyd's I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus?

And my vote for most annoying is Madonna's version of Santa Baby. Or anyone else's version for that matter, but especially hers.
Christmas Shoes! Ugh...I mean, the sentiment is nice, but the song is quite cheesey.

Hate the hippo song, the Paul McCartney song, and Santa Baby. As much as I like 80's music, I don't like Wham's "Last Christmas I gave you my heart but the very next day you gave it away..." I do like 12 Days by the Muppets more for sentimental reasons. We played every year on our record player as kids when we decorated the tree.
The Christmas Shoe song has to be the dumbest song I've ever heard!
